The Crime Online April site search statistics show the whole span of the different fraud types

After more than 10 years following what African crooks are doing, I get to instantly recognise a 419 scam story when I see one. This is no different to any other scam e-mails doing the rounds, it just looks more believable.

At least this message is written in an understandable English.

It really looks as though Google is getting better at recognising these e-mails as fraudulent. I hope they get better at it, because it will save a lot of heartbreak if they do.
