I don’t know exactly how many Christian communities have fallen for this type of scam, but it is a lot.

To tell the truth I am not surprised that it keeps on cropping up. I has all the ingredients, a regretfull millionaire who wants to save his money from his greedy family and give it all to charity. And, if you help him you get some of the loot too!

I wonder how many have fallen for this one over the years.

What can I say. This is an interesting variation on the “I found a pile of money in a dormant account” story. Would you believe from the Bank of Scotland. I’m pretty sure the Scots know pretty damn well what money is kept within their organisation.

Anyway, this is just the usual west African scam e-mail text just changed a little bit. It sounds more serious and believable that way.
